I first met Sadie when her family came into our Niagara Falls location looking for pads as she was from Guelph and doing a little tour of some Niagara parks. She had just recently started skating at that point. I saw her and her lovely family a few more times at Inside and Waterdown. Eventually she became the first team rider for our friends at Comacan! Shortly after she got on, I had the opportunity to skate with her a couple times and she was just the quiet ripper around the park hitting every rail and stair set. The more she was posting on Instagram, we saw how insanely good she was getting and progressing at an unreal pace! We were used to seeing her skating street and then all the sudden we see her ripping the biggest bowls and pools. Between her speedy progression, undeniable determination and just fun to skate with, Sadie became our first team rider! And since then, she has absolutely elevated into becoming a force to be reckoned with. She is hitting the biggest transitions and always discovering new ways to skate them. She’s travelling all over the world to skate contests on a national scale. And the most important part is she’s just having a great time while doing it! It’s been an honour to see Sadie go from a beginner customer looking for pads and navigating around learning tricks to becoming a very skilled and talented up and comer that continues to leave her mark around whereever she skates! And it’s only up from here! Hard working dedicated skaters deserve to have their name on a board, so it’s only fitting she has one! And hopefully it will not be the last! Thanks for all the continuous love and support Sadie!
