Our Story

Ride Skate Shop started as a little experiment being run out of a basement. The goal was to serve the Niagara skate scene and beyond with quality skateboard product, getting it into their hand as soon as possible! Not only serving the Niagara region, but also promoting skaters by carrying local Canadian skateboard brands! Always looking to expand, Ride offers different product for all of your skateboards needs and there is always something for everyone! Ride is more than a shop, Ride is the second home for many skateboarders and people! A chance to hangout, meet some new people and make some new friends and just serve as a go to spot for everybody!

After needing to move back to online sales due to a robbery and other issues at our old location, 4 months later we found our new home right where we’ve always wanted to be in the heart of St.Catharines!

About the owner!

Ride Skate Shop is owned by Trevor Donegan. Trevor started skateboarding at the age of 2 years old and has never stopped since. He grew up in the Niagara region, going to the previous shops in Niagara. Trevor worked with the Town of Lincoln for almost 6 years on getting his hometown Beamsville a skatepark which was finally built in October of 2020. He loves skateboarding with a passion and puts everything he has into what he loves to do!
